Twenty-five SGB Rovacabin units for soft drinks giant

The construction programme is expected to be completed by autumn 2007 and in the meantime there is a huge requirement for flexible office accommodation to meet the employees needs during the transient period of the building work. Glasgow architects Bradford and Robertson recommended the use of SGB Rovacabin units. These are high specification, steel framed building sections, typically 9.6m x 3m, which can be linked horizontally or stacked up to 3 units high, thereby maximising the effective use of the available site area. The SGB Rovacabin team, working closely with the architect, first carried out an on-site survey to assess exactly what was required. The team then organised groundworks, plumbing, water and waste, internal fixtures and fittings, together with external ramps and externals steps during the installation. The layout and fittings were in accordance with the requirements of Alan Thom from AG Barr who was instrumental in creating an appropriate design.

The building, which measures over 700mē, is on two levels and mostly open plan. Rovacabin added air conditioned throughout for extra comfort. Both client and supplier are delighted with the end result that has kept the makers of "Scotlands other national drink" housed until the end of the year. SGB Rovacabin is one of the UK's leading suppliers of high quality portable accommodation and secure storage, with a 30-year track record of satisfying additional space requirements for property owners and facility managers in both the private and public sectors.
